Yups. EMERGE 2008 has finally come to an end..Cant believe hw fast things went by.. To sum it all up, EMERGE 2008 was a blast! =) From the competitions.. Parade of Schools, Testimony,Preaching,Worship,Performances.. Everything was just a blast. =) it was so fun tht everything seem to pass by just a little too fast. hehs..Anyways.. its like 4am now.. haha.. so i'll just type a lil of the 3 days and let the pictures continue the rest.. =)DAY 1!
Reached Sunway at 1.30pm..
Met up with my team.. =) the other teams and us had to do a rehearsal on the stage. and nobody ever thought tht the stage would be THAT small! like it was seriously soooo small..! its even smaller than the cafeteria space in church man. x) but anyhoo, its call adapting i guess.. haha.. so yup. each team only got to do 2 pracs on the stage. EMERGE officially started at 7pm.. din get to join tho.. all the Parade Of Schools teams were behind.. in another room.. getting ready.. warming up.. practising.. praying.. and so on.

(if thats hw u spell it. lol!) thx jie. =) i look so botak larh when i put up all my hair. lol coz of my big big high forhead. hehs. nvr tied this kind of hairstyle since primary 6 when i was the head prefect. but now? hehe.. sudah tak da.. maybe becoz i was head prefect so i had to like u noe.. be super extra dicipline.. hehs..

owh yes, i had to wear this microphone. Gaaah.. it was so annoying! Just coz i was the comander and had to cheer at a part of the routine. and i couldnt breathe whenever there was silence.. coz then the crowd would hear the inhaling and exhaling sound.. x) which would definitely sound superbly weird? It was great larh to finally compete.. and perform. =) all the teams were shinning like stars! ^^ oh yaaaa.. WILL aka Jay Chow's Best friend aka Miss Taiwan's husband performed too while we were getting ready at the back. =)
and yes! 8 of my schools friends came to support me! =) There was Ah Khai,Fei Kei,War yee,War San,Kok Sime,May Suet,Jian Yi and boon sin! =) thanks guys for ur support! ^^ Most importantly, My beloved family came down from JB to support me.. and most unexpectedly, my grandmother came too!! wow.. =)

DAY 2!
Went to Sunway at abt 2.30pm for the Talentime Finals! it was great.! =)
the most memorable performance would be the Beatboxing performance done by Shawn Lee. =)
Shawn rawked the stage la.. hahaha..and there was this special performance by a band called the "Army of 3" man were they hardcore. i couldn't relate to their kind of style tho. just made my jaw drop.. xD hahaha.. not really larh. it was funny but =.= at the same time. they were shaking their head and jumping here and there. screaming like a rock band la. lol. hardcore one may i add. lolz.. had Pizza Hut with Parents and Sis and by the time we finished, we had to go for the night session alrdy which started at 6pm. but before tht.. me and sis went looking for a present for BB! =) but couldnt find anything suitable. not enough time. hehs..And yes, the sermon was really good. =) although i was sooooooo exhausted! but i managed to stay awake.. xD it was good la. =) there were man hunt and beauty pagent finals and arm restling too.

Day 3!
last day of EMERGE! went for the night session only.. reached at abt 5.20pm..
had this sudden crave for ice-cream! hahaha.. been long since i ate Mc D's ice cream. hehes. so yup went to Mc D and boy was the line long!!! =( why la everyone suddenly feel like eating ice cream also. xD hahas.. so yeah.. que up for like super long and the line didn't seem like it was moving at all. dunno wht the cashier doing man. tsk tsk. finally got my ice cream and rushed to the convention centre. hehs. when we reached, there were already a bunch of people que-ing up to go inside. Mwahahhaha.. just coz i'm in the POS team i didn't need to line up. hehe. i got to go in and out whenever i wanted even before the event started. which was really nicesh. =P plus we had reserved sits infront. so yup, it was all good. ^^ kinda reminded me back in the older days when i was security for the Planet Shakers Conference in 2006. Didn't need to que up either. hahaa.. tht feeling is just the fun la. xD hahaha.. u should try that someday. =D (btw.. the convention centre so totally made me miss PS conference. =/ ) and yes, there was the Fashion design competition!
The Prize giving and all was today! For Parade of Schools, MINT cluster wont first place! *aplauds!* they deserve it. =) like i said, their stunts plus variety in their routine totally owns all. ^^ and as a whole MINT cluster wont also. hahaha.. they had 31 golds while LU had 29 golds. close call yeah? it actually depended on the POS competition larh. coz if LU won, we would have 31 golds instead and would have been the winning cluster for EMERGE 2008. hahahs.. *cheers! to MINT cluster!* =) u guys did great.
